Adidas presents the third Bayern jersey for 2017. Made of recycled polyester, Adidas FC Bayern München Third 2017 Jersey 5 Hummels brings CLIMACOOL® technology, a ventilation system specially engineered with materials and components which will provide a superior moisture management, enhanced evaporation and better breathability. With an elegant design, the piece presents white as the predominant color with wine in the crew neck, cuffs of the sleeves and the logo of Adidas, embroidered on the right side of the chest. Moreover, the team badge appears embroidered in the left side of the chest on its traditional version. It also presents silver in the three stripes of Adidas, located on the sides. Finally, printed sponsorship in the frontal region complements the details as well as the phrase "Mia san mia" that appears below the neck, in reference to the motto of the team: Above all, be very proud of what it represents to the world. The uniform has the name and number (5) of Hummels customized on the back.

Mats Julian Hummels (born on December, 16 of 1988) is a German professional footballer who nowadays plays as a central defender for FC Bayern Munich and the German national team. While he was with Borussia, Hummels's performances in 2010-11 season displayed great quality in tackling, positioning, passing and composure. He had attracted praise from pundits and coaches alike, and he was considered one of the best defenders in the Bundesliga, and in Europe. Hummels won the Bundesliga for a second time in 2011–12 as Borussia set a Bundesliga record with the most points in a Bundesliga season with 81 point.
