Adidas presents the new Flamengo 2016 Special Edition Jersey in honor of the Olympics in Rio. The piece refers, in addition to soccer, the other modalities developed in the red-black team: basketball, rowing, gymnastics, volleyball, judo and swimming. It is made of lightweight and breathable polyester and has the CLIMACOOL® technology in charge of the management of ventilation and moisture from your body, providing comfort and excellent performances. Its design is composed of dark gray color with red accents, like the traditional stripes of the brand located on the shoulders, and a texture with small colorful details that represent the five continents. In the chest region, the team's badge is present as well as the brand logo, embroidered.

Among other achievements, Flamengo was elected the ninth largest soccer club of the XX century in a research conducted by FIFA, is one of five country clubs (alongside Cruzeiro, Santos, São Paulo and International) that have never been relegated to the second national division. Owns, next to Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas, the longest unbeaten sequence of brazilian soccer with 52 matches in 1979 and was the first club in Brazil to reach the mark of consecutive games in the first national division.
