The Flamengo special kit of 2016 features shirt and shorts, made of lightweight and breathable polyester. It has Climalite® technology, a highly breathable fabric, which wicks moisture away from the skin for quick evaporation, resists pilling and has an anti-microbial function. The jersey offers customization of name and number using the team's fonts and its design pays tribute to the Rio Olympics. The piece refers to soccer in addition to other modalities developed in the red-black team: basketball, rowing, gymnastics, volleyball, judo and swimming. Its design is made of lead gray with details in red, like the traditional stripes of the brand, on the shoulders and the cuff of the sleeves, which brings superimposed tissue. There is still a print with small colored details representing the five continents. In the chest region, it presents the team badge as well as the logo of the brand, printed. The shorts, in turn, also have gray lead color and comes with the team badge located near the bar. Finally, elastic waistband makes the ideal fit.
