Inspired by the uniform used in the "Golden Year", Flamengo's away mantle for 2021 celebrates the 40th anniversary of the 1981 achievement, when it celebrated the victory of the Intercontinental Cup and the Libertadores da América. The mantle displays contrasting gradient details in the sleeve region, in honor of Tokyo, a city that witnessed this historic mark in the club's trajectory, and below the neck, the red-black mascot is seen in the origami version.
