About Guarani FC

The Guarani Futebol Clube (born Guarany Foot-Ball Club) is a Brazilian sports college, based in the city of Campinas, state of São Paulo, whose main sport is soccer. Founded in April 1911 by some young people of Italian descent, and a couple of German descent, the club's name was a tribute to the masterpiece of the composer Carlos Gomes, Il Guarany.
