Boa Esporte Clube is a sports association founded in Ituiutaba, founded in April 1947, becoming professional club in 1998. In 2011, the team moves to the city of Varginha, going to play under the name of Boa Esporte Clube. The "new" club name is not new, since "Boa" was the nickname of Ituiutaba and first name of the club, founded in 1947 as Boa Vontade Esporte Clube.
