Criciúma was the first and only club in Santa Catarina to win the Brazil Cup title in 1991, undefeated. Criciúma also has a Brazilian Championship Series B title of 2002 and a title of the Brazilian Championship Series C, won in 2006. In the state championship, Criciúma celebrated the title 10 times, being the 4th highest winner of Catarinão and the team that ended most with the runner-up 10 times. It is the only Santa Catarina club to participate in a Copa Libertadores of America, reaching the phase of the quarterfinals.
