Villa Nova Athletic Club is a Brazilian sports club, headquartered in the city of Nova Lima in the state of Minas Gerais, founded on June 28, 1908 under the name Villa Nova Athletic Club by English workers of the Saint John Del Rey Mining Company Limited . Villa Nova has the largest crowd in the interior of Minas Gerais and is also considered the most successful indoor club in the state. Its traditional colors are red and white.
