Technical information

The Figueirense alternative uniform made by Lupo for 2015-2016 season honors the 55 years of its home stadium, Orlando Scarpelli. Predominantly black with golden details. It features V-neck and the team badge embroidered on the left chest along with sponsorship and brand logo.

Present at the official anthem and adopted spontaneously by the fans, the club then decided to create the Hurricane mascot, nicknamed  as Hurricane of the Strait (Furacão do Estreito). The Hurricane is one of the most successful clubs in the Santa Catarina football, with 17 titles Catarinense Championship and the biggest number of times a Santa Catarina club participated in the first tier  of the Brazilian Championship. The Figueirense is the Santa Catarina club with the biggest unbeaten run in Série A with 14 games unbeaten in the Brazilian Championship of 2011. Besides this all, this Santa Catarina state club has the highest number of times it played in the Brazil Cup and the Copa Sudamericana. Figueirense is considered by the Santa Catarina's press as one of five major state clubs.
