The Team Czech represents Czech Republic in the FIFA competitions since the separation of Czechoslovakia in 1992. In the 2004 Euro, the Czech Republic national team, led by Pavel Nedved made a brilliant campaign, but had a shock defeat against Greece. In the 2006 World Cup arrived as one of the favorites clubs, but fell far short of expectations, as his side was eliminated in the first round of the tournament after an excellent debut.
