About Aracruz Es

The Esporte Clube Aracruz, founded on June 12, 1954, was playing amateur tournaments and, until then, the Eugênio A. Bitti Stadium was still surrounded by bamboo. The titular shirt features red, black and white stripes, which was inspired in part from the colors of the municipal flag. In 2010 it was unbeaten Capixaba champion of the Second Division, defeating in the final the team of the North Star, and both teams disputed the First Division in 2011.
