About Flamengo de Guarulhos

The  Associação Atlética Flamengo was founded on June 1, 1954 by Rio Guiomar Pereira Xavier, fanatical supporter of Flamengo's Gávea. Since its inception, the Corvo, as it is affectionately nicknamed, became the greatest power in the municipal football. In the period between the years 1969 and 1977, the team was consecrated seven-time champion of the Guarulhos Championship.
