About São Bento

Esporte Clube São Bento is a century sports club in the city of Sorocaba, state of São Paulo. Has as official colors blue, the heavenly tones, royal and navy, and white. It is represented by the Azulão bird (Ultramarine grosbeak), as the club is known decades ago. It is a traditional team and during the 60s, 70s and 80s dueled against the big teams of the capital. It remained for 29 consecutive years in the elite of São Paulo soccer. The club disputed the first division of the Campeonato Paulista and the Copa Paulista. It is the oldest football club still active in Sorocaba.
