Technical information

Umbro presents a new version of Chapecoense's third mantle for 2016. Made in resistant polyester, the shirt pays homage to those involved in the tragic plane crash that occurred in November 2016 and brings the number 71 on the back, in reference to the number of victims (being players, technical staff, crew and journalists) who were at board. In addition, the name of the victims are highlighted by the number, demonstrating that the Chape family means more than the team of players and coaching staff. The Chape family became much larger, uniting fans and people around the world who were touched by the tragedy, showing their support, compassion and giving meaning to the motto "Somos mais que Onze" (We are more than eleven) used by the Western Verdão. Its design is predominantly dark green and brings as main highlight, a vertical stripe in light green. This tonality is still seen on the cuff of the sleeves and also on the sides. The collar, in turn, is crew neck and features the front in dark green and the back in light green. The sponsors appear in light green and maintain the identity of the mantle. At the bottom left, there is a stamp showing the silhouette of the city with the name a mention at the age of 99, showing the foundation date and the anniversary year. On the reverse side, the name of Umbro is seen and a feather, symbol of the Indian Condá, mascot of the club, with the words: "Somos mais que Onze". Finally, on the left side of the chest, the team's new badge brings a star in reference to the 2016 South American Cup. Its color is white, signaling the peace found by the eternal warriors of Chape. Already in the center of the badge, a second star is seen inside the letter F, referring to soccer, perpetuating those who dedicated their life to Chapecoense.
