Joinville Esporte Clube is a club of Joinville, a city in the northeastern brazilian state of Santa Catarina, also known by its acronym, JEC. In soccer, it is considered by the Santa Catarina press as one of five major state clubs, along with Avaí, Chapecoense, Criciúma and Figueirense.
