About the club

The Clube Atlético Tubarão was founded in 2005 and brings the colors and the name of the city of Tubarão-SC in its symbol and uniform. A curiosity is that before the beginning of the Championship Catarinense of 2008, the fans decided to protest because of the then name of the team, that was called Cidade Azul. The fans identified more with the name linked to the city. With this, the board began the process to change the name of the club to Clube Atlético Tubarão.
