Description

Developed by Adidas, Flamengo's away shirt for 2021 honors Mengão's world title victory in 1981. Made of polyester, the piece features the rubro-negro mascot in origami below the nape of the neck, in addition to displaying the Libertadores patch.

Technical information

Inspired by the uniform used in the "Golden Year", Flamengo's away mantle for 2021 commemorates 40 years since the achievement of 1981, when it commemorated the victory of the Intercontinental Cup and the Libertadores da América. The piece features contrasting gradient details in the sleeve region, in honor of Tokyo, the city that witnessed this milestone in the club's trajectory, and, below the nape of the neck, the rubro-negro mascot is seen in the origami version.
