Produced by Adidas, Flamengo's third shirt for 2017 was created by a fan through the Adidas Creator Studio tool and was named "Home and History". The jacket features a South American patch set on the right sleeve and besides offering name and number customization in the team's official fonts it is made of extremely light polyester with CLIMACOOL® technology, a ventilation system specially engineered with materials and components which will provide a superior moisture management, enhanced evaporation and better breathability. Its design presents the predominant yellow color and has several details in blue, as can be seen in the cuff of the sleeves and collar, which in turn is crew neck.The same shade is seen in the classic three Adidas stripes on the shoulders. In addition, an unusual and stylish detail is seen in the sleeves, where colorful features appear and mention the chairs of the new Maracanã, which although not the official home of the club, is the stadium that lives in the hearts of flamenguistas. Finally, the CRF badge is embroidered on the left side of the chest, and complementing the details, pattern of sponsors are seen throughout the composition of the shirt.
