Adidas presents the Atlético Mineiro 2023 "From Root to Fight" jersey, a manifesto to celebrate the victories of black people, exalting their ancestry through braids and remembering that every day we must echo our voice against racism.

Atlético Mineiro's Black Awareness jersey for 2023 was developed by Adidas in partnership with Laboratório Fantasma, an Afro-entrepreneurial organization, which was born on the outskirts of the city of São Paulo with the purpose of combating inequality, prejudice and racism, through of culture, education and music. The piece is made of polyester, features a cream-colored design, features graphics demonstrating the history and ancestry of black people through their braids, culture and clothing, as well as two stamps, one on the chest with the phrase "From roots to struggle " and one on the back of the neck with the Lab Fantasma logo.
