Gobbato Pig
The Pig was the pejorative form that rivals called Palmeiras at the time of World War II, when Italians suffered prejudice, being called, among other names, "pigs" and the crowd that was mostly made up of immigrants and descendants suffered repression. After decades of being offended by the nickname, the crowd decided to adopt the mascot during the match against Santos, in the 1986 Brazilian Championship, with shouts of ""E dá-lhe Porco, e dá-lhe Porco, olê, olê, olê". In 2016, Pig Gobbato was made official by the club and gained a robust and imposing shape, starting to liven up the games alongside Periquito.
